Juliet Lauren is an aspiring author, award-winning writer, and published poet.
She writes about anorexia, PTSD, sexual abuse, healthy love, unhealthy love, family, death, grieving, mental health problems, vices, and the absolute insurmountable beauty of life. She thinks the carpal tunnel is worth this self expression and her grandiose bipolar plans of fixing the planet. She won't write on her website anymore while not sober.
Her poetry and manuscript have been honored in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Her manuscript was also awarded in Ember Chasm Review. You can read her poems and prose online or in print in journals such as Ghost City Press, Gold Wake Live, SkyIsland Journal, High Shelf Press, Anti Heroin Chic Magazine, Kissing Dynamite, Doghouse Press, Ember Chasm Review, Pine Hills Review, Flapper Press, and Eunoia Review. She is pursuing publishing a poetry book and also her character-driven literary fiction about death, sex, and vodka.
